I ordered the HP KS526AA 6-Cell Multi Charge Extended Battery when I bought my new computer. Historicallyin the past I have chaired the budget committee at our church. A number of those meetings took about four hours in order to get our work completed. It is nice to know that your battery can outlast your meeting time when it is not convenient to plug in to the electrical outlet.
Great battery life. You should not must pay additional for it, but that is a different review, I guess. It fit our daughters laptop computer perfectly & raises the back edge about 3/4″, giving the keyboard a more comfortable typing angle. If you are planning on using your laptop computer on the battery & need to be able to be away from the outlet for 6-8 hours, get this battery.
As expected the KS526AA battery, Battery life jumped from 3-4 hours to 6-8.5 hours. The battery is significantly large & props the backside of the laptop computer up by about .7 inches. The increase in height makes use of the keyboard more comfortable, however. The battery also does not protrude a lot that laptop computer sleeves are unable to fit the laptop computer as well.
