This is about 100 times better than the 3 cell  battery. Right now I am at 95% charging so I can’t tell you about the times but when i unplugged it at 94% it was at about 8 hours remaining. This is one of the best investments you can make for your netbook. It does make your netbook slightly slant upward though, so if you don’t want that (I like it personally) then don’t get this. Otherwise, it’s a great investment and by the way no other nine cell battery isn’t going to make it slant upward. I was somewhat leery of buying a battery from an unknown seller. I bought mine from Battery1Inc. They provided excellent service and the battery itself exceeded my expectations. I let it charge overnight then the next morning I did an hour and a half Google Talk video session, lots of surfing, used a bluetooth mouse, etc. After that amount of time, I still had well over four hours of battery life remaining on my MSI U100. Also, the battery raises the rear of the netbook to a more comfortable height/angle for normal typing. I like it. I thought it was an excellent value.
